Singers Companye joins us in a celebration of the music of Morten Lauridsen that includes a viewing of Shining Night, a movie that chronicles the details of this extraordinary composer’s life on a remote island off the northern coast of Washington State. It’s a rare glimpse into the inner world of an award winning composer whose music is a mystical, probing, and serene reflection of nature.

5:00 Roam the Zoo to visit animals and see Wild Light display
Join us at Nature’s Theater for late afternoon pre-concert wine, small bites, and a serenade. Then hear a concert of music by Mozart, Jacob, and Piazzolla with flute, string trio, and story telling. Then go out into the night to visit the animals and enjoy the wildest lighting display around!
